On 17 August 2023 the HACC delivered a guilty verdict with release from punishment due to the statute of limitations, but on 15 November 2023 the Appeals Chamber of the HACC overturned the verdict and released the MP from criminal liability due to the expiry of the statute of limitations (at the request of the defence).
