He and five members of the group were served notices of suspicion on 7 September 2023 (Articles 191, 209, 366 of the Criminal Code); the investigation was completed in July 2025, and the indictment was sent to court on 6 August 2026. NABU does not name him in its announcements; the identification is based on the position (Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration) and media publications. The 2022 Bihus.Info video does not examine this case separately — it mentions the case on the withdrawal of «eight billion» from PrivatBank before nationalisation and the «Ukrnafta» case, in which Kolomoiskyi was not a suspect.
