On 26.02.2019 the Constitutional Court declared Article 368-2 of the Criminal Code unconstitutional; on 02.04.2020 the High Anti-Corruption Court, at SAPO's request, closed the criminal proceedings under Article 284(1)(4) of the Criminal Procedure Code (criminal liability for the act abolished). The ground for closure is decriminalisation, which is not exonerating: guilt has been neither established nor refuted by a court.
