The Commercial Court of Kyiv annulled the auction results, the Supreme Court upheld this, and the property was returned to the state enterprise. On 1 February 2023 notices of suspicion were served on seven persons, among them a Deputy Minister of Culture (2014–2019); the actions were initially qualified under Article 191(5) and Article 366(1) of the Criminal Code, and in 2025 SAPO cites Article 364(2), Article 365-2(3) and Article 366(1) of the Criminal Code. Plea agreements were approved for five participants; on 3 April 2025 the indictment against four more persons was sent to court — whether the former Deputy Minister is among them has not been officially specified (TI Ukraine, as of the last update of the case page, indicated a pre-trial investigation regarding her).
