According to NABU and SAPO, in 2020 the head of the Road Service in Vinnytsia Oblast offered the head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration an undue advantage for resolving the issue of repaying, from the local budget, debts to private suppliers of medical equipment (about UAH 42 million). On 8 October 2020 he was detained while handing over part of the amount — UAH 200 thousand. The indictment under Article 369(3) of the Criminal Code was sent to the HACC on 15 June 2021. The amount in the record is UAH 4.7 million according to NABU's statement; at the time of the detention “Ukravtodor” and LB.ua cited UAH 4.2 million. There is no verdict; the person is presumed innocent until the verdict enters into force.
