According to NABU and SAPO, the head and the former head of the Commercial Court of Lviv Oblast demanded more than USD 1 million from a representative of a private company for securing "the right" decisions in two cases in the commercial court of appeal (according to the AntAC, cases concerning a corporate conflict in the Eskulab laboratory chain); in early November 2024 part of the sum — USD 75 thousand — was handed over. The actions were qualified, in particular, under Article 28(2), Article 369-2(3) of the Criminal Code. The notice of suspicion was served in December 2024; on 12.12.2024 the High Council of Justice consented to detention in custody; on 17.07.2026 the indictment was sent to court. NABU does not give names; the identification is per the AntAC, the High Council of Justice and TI Ukraine. There is no verdict.
