According to NABU and SAPO (HCJ decision of 07.10.2025), Yurii Bilous, a judge of the Mostyska District Court of Lviv Oblast seconded to the Lychakivskyi District Court of Lviv, on 20.06.2025 received USD 8,000 from his niece for influencing officials of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre (TCC and SS) so that her relative, who had been brought to the TCC, would be released without mobilisation; according to investigators, the judge said that he had passed the money on to TCC staff. Slidstvo.Info, citing the investigation, writes that it concerned his cousin and that USD 8,000 was paid instead of USD 12,000. Also, according to investigators, he promised to help arrange guardianship for the demobilisation of another person's relative. A notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code was served on 05.09.2025; on 30.03.2026 the indictment was sent to the HACC. The judge denies the charges; there is no verdict.
