According to a Bihus.Info investigation, since 2014 S. Boichuk declared his own two-room apartment in Pozniaky; in 2020 he re-registered it to his mother and declared a 13 m² room provided by the security police, and in 2021 he received from the National Police a three-room service apartment in the «Kryshtalevi dzherela» residential complex, which he privatised in 2023; the journalists estimated the value of such an apartment at approximately USD 100 thousand (the episode amount is this estimate). Boichuk explained to the journalists that he re-registered the apartment because his parents had to be relocated from Mykolaiv Oblast due to the full-scale invasion; the journalists note that the re-registration took place back in 2020. The journalists themselves note that the provision and privatisation of service housing are lawful. This is a journalistic investigation: no official criminal proceedings have been registered, no charges have been brought.
