The episode is described in a Bihus.Info journalistic investigation; no official criminal proceedings have been registered on these facts and no notices of suspicion have been served. According to the journalists, the head of the Commercial Court of the City of Kyiv lives in a private house of almost 180 m² in Lisnyky village near Kyiv, registered to a member of his family. According to documents cited in the investigation, the plot was bought in autumn 2024 for UAH 800 thousand, and the house was commissioned in February 2026 with an estimated construction cost of UAH 600 thousand; at the same time, according to satellite images, the house already stood when the land was bought. The journalists estimate the market value of similar unrenovated houses at about USD 350 thousand — this estimate is entered as the episode amount. The journalists also reported that the judge uses a 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (dealer price up to USD 70 thousand) registered to a female relative, and that apartments in Pechersk are registered to family members in whom the journalists found no commensurate official income. After the publication, the NACP began monitoring the judge's lifestyle. The judge did not answer the journalists' questions.
