Apartment in the White Lines residential complex, paid for with almost UAH 3.5 million whose origin is not confirmed by declarations

According to Slidstvo.Info journalists, on 5 November 2020 Volodymyr Buhrov, then Vice-Rector of KNU, signed a contract to purchase 7,444 real estate bonds in the White Lines residential complex (face value UAH 1.7 million), for which he paid almost UAH 3.5 million (USD 123,868); in December 2023 he registered a 74.7 m² apartment in his name. The journalists note that, according to the declarations, his family's savings did not decrease between 2019 and 2020, and the expenditure on real estate and the right to the unfinished construction object were not stated in the declarations for 2020–2022. Buhrov claims that all income was declared and the funds had been accumulated earlier. No official proceedings regarding this have been registered.
