According to NABU and SAPO, in 2016 the then Director General of SC «Ukrspecexport» P. Bukin concluded a contract for the purchase of on-board radio-electronic equipment (altimeters) at a price of about USD 450 thousand, inflated almost 7 times, with a company controlled by I. Hladkovskyi — the son of the then First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council; according to investigators, part of the funds (approximately USD 170 thousand) was handed over to I. Hladkovskyi. Losses to the state are almost UAH 13 million (the episode amount is UAH 13 million based on the wording «almost 13 million»). The proceedings were opened based on a 2019 Bihus.Info investigation. On 06.10.2023 both were served notices of suspicion in absentia; in June 2024 the indictment was sent to court, and on 02.07.2024 the HACC scheduled the case for trial on the merits. There is no data on a verdict.
