According to a Bihus.Info investigation, since December 2021 the state parliamentary TV channel «Rada» has systematically commissioned content production (in particular for the «United News» telethon) from Kinokit LLC: the first contract was UAH 9 million (December 2021), in 2022 the company was paid UAH 147 million (the largest payments under a contract not published in Prozorro), in 2023 — UAH 110 million, and an agreement for almost UAH 105 million was concluded for 2024; in total — over UAH 350 million. The winner was selected through an «art competition» announced only on the channel's website with a seven-day submission period; according to the 2024 competition documents, one of the three participants withdrew, leaving «Kinokit» with one competitor. Journalists also reported that the company's owner, Yuliia Drozdova, was previously a legal adviser to Timur Mindich's British company, and that the company had earlier been linked to the circle of former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko; Drozdova herself stated that no one but her influences the company's activities. No official proceedings have been registered; the figure refers to the value of contracts, not to established damages.
