According to an investigation by Nashi Hroshi (Bihus.Info, March 2018), since 2016 the family of Member of Parliament Anton Herashchenko has been living in a rented apartment of about 190–200 m² in central Kyiv; according to the MP's declaration, the rent is paid by his father-in-law, who in the same year registered as a sole proprietor and bought a Hyundai Santa Fe used by the MP. The video states that in total the father-in-law spent USD 115 thousand on his son-in-law's family, while his official income over eight years was about USD 7.5 thousand; the text version by Bihus.Info cites rental expenses of more than UAH 1.5 million and about UAH 1 million for the car, with the father-in-law's income of about UAH 270 thousand since 2016. The journalists also noted that the apartment's owner lives on the outskirts of Kyiv and that the floor is completely closed off, and suggested that the apartment may actually belong to another person; no evidence of this was presented. The MP stated that his father-in-law pays from savings. This is a journalistic investigation; no official proceedings have been registered (no information about any has been found). The amount is per the video (USD 115 thousand).
