Cottage in “Vitahrad” registered to the prosecutor’s father (about UAH 19 million)

According to a Bihus.Info investigation, in autumn 2021 a court, at the prosecutor's office's request, seized land plots in Khodosivka, including in the «Vitahrad» cottage community, and in autumn 2022 lifted the seizure, taking into account a letter from the Kyiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office stating that there was no evidence of violations of environmental legislation. About half a year later (in May 2023), Oleksandr Hutsuliak, the prosecutor of that office responsible for environmental matters, moved into a two-storey 180 sq m cottage in «Vitahrad»; the plot under the house and a 2022 BMW X5 are registered to his father. According to the developer, a house of this size costs about UAH 19 million (Bihus.Info materials also say «from 18 million» and «at least UAH 20 million»); the amount is the estimated value of the house, not an established amount of illicit enrichment. The prosecutor denies any link between his work and the move. After the report, the NACP began monitoring his lifestyle; in November 2024 Bihus.Info reported that NABU and SAPO are investigating possible illicit enrichment (a search of his car). No official NABU statement was found; no suspicion has been announced.
