Charges of unlawfully lifting the seizure of EUR 110,700 and USD 9,300 in the case of a former vice-president of SFGCU “Khlib Ukrainy”

According to NABU and SAPO, in November 2020 the judge, acting as investigating judge, ruled to lift the arrest on EUR 110,700 and USD 9,300 seized in 2018 in proceedings against Andrii Mykhaniv, former vice president of the company «Khlib Ukrainy», citing that the funds belonged to another person; in the investigators' view, she had no right to consider this issue because the case was already being heard on the merits, and false information was entered into the ruling. On 30.03.2023 a notice of suspicion was served (Article 364(2), Article 366(1) of the Criminal Code); in April 2023 the HACC set bail at UAH 805,000; in August 2023 SAPO sent the indictment to court; on 10.07.2024 the HACC scheduled the case for trial on the merits. No data on a verdict were found. The amount is given in euros; an additional USD 9,300 is involved. NABU's official announcement does not name the judge — the identification is provided by «Slovo i Dilo» and Bihus.Info. There is no verdict; the person is presumed innocent.

264 m² mansion in Khotianivka, whose construction was declared at UAH 1.8 million, financed by “gifts” from his mother

Bihus.Info journalistic investigation (November 2021): the judge has a 264 m² estate in Khotianivka near Kyiv, with another house being built next to it. The declaration gives the construction cost as UAH 1.8 million; according to the journalists, the judge officially did not have such funds, and during construction she declared first UAH 1 million and then another UAH 1.5 million as gifts from her mother, whose farming activity officially brought in a little over 20 thousand dollars over 10 years. The 24-sotka land plot (journalists' market estimate — approximately UAH 2.5 million) was also received as a gift from her aunt. Journalists also reported that the judge bought a Range Rover in 2021 (the third car that year). The judge declined to comment on the origin of the funds. No official proceedings regarding these assets have been registered (no information was found). UAH 1.8 million is the declared construction cost, not an established one.
