According to a Bihus.Info investigation, after Ye. Kaluhin moved to the ESBU (2023), his wife, together with female partners, bought 173 sotkas (1.73 ha) of land near Chernivtsi in 2024, where a spa complex with a restaurant and a nightclub opened in 2025; according to the journalists' estimate, similar land nearby now costs over UAH 12 million (in the video — USD 300–350 thousand), while the declaration gives UAH 2.2 million for all of it. The episode amount is the journalists' estimate for the land, not the transaction price. The journalists also reported that in 2024 his wife and mother bought 12 sotkas on the border with Slovakia in Uzhhorod, where housing is under construction (a similar plot — over USD 100 thousand), his wife invested in the agricultural company «Khrum», the company «Golden Black Spa» took two filling stations as mortgage collateral for UAH 40 million in 2025, and his father bought over half a hectare in Kozyn in 2023 (about UAH 15 million). The wife explained that she had sufficient declared funds; the father — that he bought the plot with his own funds. In March 2026, according to Bihus.Info, the official resigned; the NACP began monitoring his lifestyle.
