According to a Bihus.Info investigation, in 2020 the former mother-in-law of Oleh Khrypun, Head of the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal, bought in Khodosivka (the «Vitahrad» cottage community) a land plot with a two-storey 286 sq m cottage with a swimming pool; according to the developer, the price of such a house is USD 870 thousand (over UAH 34 million). Journalists recorded that the car used by the judge leaves this community; in his declaration for 2023 the judge listed only a land plot in Chystopillia and the rental of a house from another person. Khrypun explained that the house was built by his former wife and that he only occasionally visits it. Following a complaint by Bihus.Info lawyers, the NACP began monitoring the judge's lifestyle in May 2024. The amount is the estimated market value of the house, not an established amount of illicit enrichment. No official criminal proceedings or suspicion have been announced.
