Bihus.Info journalists reported that an apartment of about 360 m² in the Diamond Hill residential complex in Kyiv, registered in June 2021 to the MP's mother-in-law, is in fact used by his family; according to journalists' estimates, such an apartment could cost from USD 2 million. Following a complaint by Bihus.Info, the NACP monitored his lifestyle and on 10 July 2024 reported signs of illicit enrichment of over UAH 70 million: according to the documents, the apartment was bought for UAH 5.5 million with a market value of about UAH 65 million, and his wife's Mercedes-Benz S350L – over UAH 5.5 million. The record uses the amount from the NACP statement; the journalists' estimate (from USD 2 million) differs. The NACP conclusion was forwarded to the Office of the Prosecutor General to decide whether to enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations (URPI) (Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code); as of December 2024 no decision had been made, and no data on registered proceedings or a suspicion were found. The MP told the NACP that he knows nothing about the origin of his mother-in-law's funds.
