According to NABU and SAPO, the former head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional prosecutor's office and the head of one of its departments in 2021 demanded USD 100 thousand for decisions in the interests of officials of a state enterprise and of a private company that had taken possession of its property, and for closing the case (after the money was received, the case was closed). In addition, in 2019–2021, according to investigators, they demanded 3% of contracts from a company building roads in the oblast and in November–December 2021 received part of the amount (NABU does not state a separate amount). The notice of suspicion was served on 26 February 2026, the investigation was completed in May 2026, and on 21 August 2026 the indictment was sent to court.
