According to Bihus.Info, in 2019 Oleksii Muzhev’s mother-in-law became the owner of two apartments (50 and 100 sq m) in a new building in Zaporizhzhia with a market value of about USD 75 thousand; in 2017 a new Volkswagen Tiguan (about USD 40 thousand) was registered to her, which, according to his own declaration, is used by Muzhev, and in the same year she lent her daughter UAH 500 thousand. Journalists reported that officially the mother-in-law is a sole proprietor engaged in retail food trade at a market and over the past 10 years did not declare income commensurate with the assets. The episode amount is the value of the two apartments; the value of the car and the loan are stated separately. Muzhev replied that the questions should be put to his mother-in-law. No official proceedings are named in the sources; this is a journalistic investigation, no official proceedings have been registered (according to available data).
