According to NABU and SAPO, a Member of Parliament failed to declare a 2020 Lexus car worth almost UAH 1.9 million, which belonged to his father but had been used by the MP and his wife since its purchase (Article 366-2(1) of the Criminal Code). The investigation was opened on the basis of a NACP finding; the notice of suspicion was served on 08.02.2023 under Articles 135 and 278 of the Criminal Procedure Code, as the MP's whereabouts had not been established. On 12.04.2023 the HACC closed the proceedings due to the expiry of the statute of limitations (not on exonerating grounds).
