According to NABU and SAPO, in November 2016 — December 2017 officials of the municipal association “Kyivzelenbud”, together with a freelance adviser to the director general and a businessman, organised the procurement of special machinery for maintaining Kyiv's green spaces at inflated prices through intermediaries; part of the funds was moved abroad. On 21 August 2020 seven persons were served notices of suspicion, among them the former director general (the amount of losses at the time — almost UAH 78 million); in December 2021 new suspects appeared, and the losses were estimated at over UAH 115 million. Qualification: Articles 191, 209, 364 of the Criminal Code. Since May 2023 the case has been at the HACC (preparatory proceedings). The amount in the record is UAH 115 million according to TI Ukraine citing NABU; LB.ua (2020) cited UAH 78 million. There is no verdict.
