False declaration: undeclared property and income of UAH 87.6 million in the declaration for 2020

According to NABU and SAPO, a Member of Parliament did not include in his e-declaration for 2020 information on the property and income of a person with whom he shares a household and is raising three children: office premises, 13 apartments in the centre of Kyiv, 8 parking spaces, 2 houses in a cottage town near Kyiv, 27 land plots (about 115 ha), 2 cars, shares in companies and income from the sale of real estate – UAH 87.6 million in total. The notice of suspicion was served in November 2021, and the indictment was sent to court on 2 August 2022. Due to his failure to appear in court, on 31 March 2023 the HACC put the defendant on the wanted list and suspended the court proceedings. Bihus.Info journalists give the amount as «almost UAH 90 million»; the record contains the amount from the NABU announcement. There is no verdict; the person is presumed innocent until the verdict enters into force.
