According to NABU and SAPO, in 2018 the Ministry of Defence concluded contracts for the construction of protected warehouses (about UAH 3 billion) with companies controlled by the then MP; after amendments to Cabinet of Ministers resolutions allowing an 80% advance payment, over UAH 312 million was transferred to a controlled company in November–December 2018, while construction never actually started. The notice of suspicion was served on 25.10.2023 (the amount then was over UAH 307 million, which is also the figure given by Bihus.Info journalists); the indictment sent to court on 26.05.2025 states over UAH 312 million. The case is being heard by the HACC; there is no verdict.
