Misappropriation of UAH 7.25 million of SE "Mikrotek" in the supply of explosive reactive armour elements for armoured vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to the HACC verdict of 25 September 2025 (case No. 991/6746/25), in April–June 2022 the director of SE "Base Centre of Critical Technologies 'Mikrotek'", in prior conspiracy with the director of LLC "Tsentr Inzhynirynhu NKEMZ", recorded a "purchase" from that company of explosive reactive armour elements, some of which were in fact already in the enterprise's warehouse, under a supply contract of 12 April 2022 (in performance of a contract with the Ministry of Defence); UAH 7,254,000 was transferred to the LLC's account and misappropriated by the participants. He was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property, a fine of UAH 59,500 and a 3-year ban on holding positions at state enterprises. On 8 January 2026 the Appeals Chamber of the HACC upheld the verdict — it entered into force (it may be appealed to the Supreme Court). The case was heard in special (in absentia) proceedings.
