According to a Bihus.Info investigation, in July 2022 a 2020 Mercedes-Benz G 400 (special edition Stronger Than Time) was registered to the wife of Member of Parliament (MP) Bohdan Torokhtii; in the declaration for 2022 its value is stated as UAH 10 thousand. Using the number plates and VIN, journalists established that the car probably came from the Art Motors lot, where a few weeks before the registration the same car was on sale for USD 153 thousand; the insurance paid the day after the purchase amounted to UAH 161 thousand; in November 2022 the car was put up for sale for USD 169.5 thousand. The MP declined to comment. The amount is the listing price, not an established amount of enrichment. This is a journalistic investigation: no official proceedings have been registered.
