Bihus.Info journalists reported that the head of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police, Maksym Tsutskiridze, lives in the «Aristokrat» residential complex in Pechersk — a «Ukrbud» building from the NABU case on the exchange of National Guard apartments. The apartment listed in his declaration was bought in May 2018 by his mother-in-law, according to the journalists' sources, at a 30% discount for UAH 3.68 million; she later bought a utility room in the complex for UAH 700,000 and two parking spaces for almost UAH 1 million, in total — over UAH 5 million. According to the journalists, the mother-in-law did not run any business. Tsutskiridze explained in writing that his mother-in-law had invested in another apartment in central Kyiv, sold it and put the money into «Aristokrat»; the journalists did not receive an explanation of the origin of the funds for the initial purchase. No official proceedings have been registered.
