Replacement of 66 apartments in central Lviv for border guards with cheaper apartments in the suburbs (UAH 10.68 million)

According to NABU and SAPO, a developer was to transfer 66 apartments in the centre of Lviv to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) in the first half of 2019, but sold them to third-party buyers; instead, the SBGS received 53 apartments in the suburbs, whose total value, according to an expert examination, is UAH 10.68 million lower. The Head of the SBGS, according to investigators, approved this substitution and received a parking space at a «discount». The notice of suspicion was served on 28 October 2022, and the case was sent to court in March 2023; it is being heard by the HACC. Bihus.Info reported that after the defendant's mobilisation the proceedings were suspended, resumed and suspended again. In the video the amount is given as «almost UAH 11 million». There is no verdict; the person is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court.
