According to SAPO and NABU, in 2020–2021 the former deputy head of Kyiv customs built and commissioned a hotel complex with a restaurant in the village of Polianytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, investing over USD 2 million which, according to the investigation, had no legal confirmation given the family's official income. According to the investigation, the property and land plots were registered to another person, and in 2020–2025 the official received income from the hotel's operation. On 27.03.2026 he was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; on 10.04.2026 an investigating judge of the HACC set bail at UAH 20 million. Official SAPO statements do not name him; the name is according to Slovo i Dilo and Censor.NET, and the position was checked against NACP declarations. Guilt has not been established by a court.
