Bihus.Info journalistic investigation (November 2020): in 2018 the mother-in-law of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court became the owner of several land plots and a house of over 200 m² in Vasylkiv near Kyiv; in 2019 O. Tupytskyi himself became the owner of an adjacent plot (7.5 sotkas). According to the journalists, the mother-in-law's and the judge's land is essentially a single territory with an estate, a playground and an artificial lake, but this property is not reflected in the judge's declaration. The approximate value of such property, according to the journalists' estimate, is about UAH 5 million; this is an estimate, not a transaction price. Journalists also reported that a 216.5 m² apartment in the «Novopecherski Lypky» residential complex (estimated at about UAH 20 million) belongs to an 80-year-old woman, most likely the judge's mother, and is declared by him as a place of periodic residence. No official proceedings regarding this episode have been registered (no information was found).
