According to the Kyiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office, the mayor organised the misappropriation of water fund lands through nominees with subsequent resale, and in 2025, by artificially changing coordinates in documentation and registers, the plots were effectively moved into a forest area and the coastal protection strip of the Stuhna River; a likely embezzlement during performance of a landscaping contract worth almost UAH 8.5 million was also documented. The total amount is over UAH 75 million. The court set bail of almost UAH 20 million; the defence disputes the suspicion.
