According to NABU and SAPO, in his declarations for 2017–2018 the director of SE “Lviv Armoured Vehicle Plant” did not state that he used an apartment worth over EUR 380 thousand registered to his wife and owned the company “Aventa Investment Limited” (Belize). On 7 May 2020 the HACC approved a plea agreement under Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code (fine of UAH 51 thousand). After the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine of 27 October 2020 concerning Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code, on 19 November 2020 the HACC overturned the verdict and closed the criminal proceedings. The ground for closure is the abolition of criminal liability by the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine; it is non-exonerating.

According to NABU and SAPO, SE “Lviv Armoured Vehicle Plant” won a tender to supply new V-46-6 engines to the Central Armoured Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, according to documents, purchased from LLC “BuletLain” and supplied 40 engines that were in fact used and had already been sold in 2008–2009 as surplus property of the Ministry of Defence. The plant's director was detained on 14 July 2017 and served a notice of suspicion under Article 191(5) of the Criminal Code; the indictment against the director, his deputy, two officials of the Central Armoured Directorate of the Armed Forces and the founder of the LLC was sent to court on 11 July 2018. Losses, according to NABU, amount to UAH 14.15 million (in 2017 LB.ua, citing investigators, cited UAH 28.5 million). The case (No. 760/17909/18) has been heard by the HACC since 2019; as of 1 September 2026 the trial is ongoing; there is no verdict.
