According to NABU and SAPO, in 2021–2023 the acting head of the State Customs Service did not list in his e-declaration a 236.8 m² residential house near Kyiv and the land plot under it, worth over USD 100 thousand, registered to his wife's father, although according to investigators the actual owners are he and his family. On 6 January 2025 he was served a notice of suspicion under Article 366-2(1) of the Criminal Code, and on 12 May 2025 the indictment was sent to court. The investigation was opened on the basis of NABU and SAPO's own findings; Bihus.Info mentioned the case in a story about the competition for the post of head of customs. NABU's announcements do not give his full name; the person has been identified by position (Cabinet of Ministers order No. 96-r of 1 February 2023). There is no verdict.
