In March 2019 NABU served him a notice of suspicion in the case of unlawful seizure of more than 15 ha of especially valuable NAAS land in Hatne (Experimental Farm "Chabany"). On 13.12.2024 the HACC delivered a guilty verdict (7 years' imprisonment with confiscation of half of his property); the verdict has been appealed and has not entered into force.

In 2019 Bihus.Info journalists reported that the Todurov family owns real estate worth over USD 2 million in total, part of it registered as gifts, and that in their 2016 declaration the couple listed UAH 11 million in savings not explained by the salary of a state institution head. No official proceedings have been registered.

Extradited from Panama in 2017; the Prosecutor General's Office stated he is suspected of misappropriating about UAH 7.5 million of budget funds in 2012. In 2025 Bihus.Info journalists reported that his circle is again preparing land in Pylypets for a ski resort. No verdict.

MP of Ukraine of the 6th–9th convocations (elected for BYuT, later the Party of Regions; since 2012 in district No. 200 in Cherkasy Oblast). In 2017 Bihus.Info journalists reported that an estate in Kozyn and Kyiv real estate, which they valued at about USD 8 million (excluding the estate), were registered to the MP's father-in-law, and that Yatsenko himself was the previous owner of some of the properties. No official proceedings on these findings are known.
